Topic: First Annual XNA Calgary Family Stampede Breakfast.
To show our appreciation to all group members and sponsors that have helped to make XNA Calgary a great success over the past
year my familly and I are honored to host the first annual XNA Calgary Stampede Breakfast at South Glenmore Park. Breakfast will
be served at 10am sharp and family members are welcome. In addition to breakfast there will be internet* available on-site and an
Xbox 360 with some games available for play. Also planned are some other games for younger children that may attend. * based on
signal strength at the location.
The Calgary XNA User Group is an association of people in and around the greater Calgary area who are interested in developing games using the XNA®
Framework and XNA Game Studio technologies provided by Microsoft®.
The group is always on the look out for new members and is open to all interested parties with the desire of creating** their own
video games to play on their Xbox 360 console or Windows PC.
Meetings are held on the second Wednesday of any given month at SAIT Polytechnic Main Campus, Heart Building - Room MD321.
Currently we use the Facebook social network to handle announcements and facilitate group contact. If you are interested in joining the XNA Calgary User's Group
then simply head over to Facebook and either
log into or create your Facebook account. Once you have logged into your Facebook
account then head over the
XNA Calgary Facebook group and select the menu link to join
the group.

The SAIT Main Campus is located on the corner of 16th Avenue (Trans-Canada Highway) and 14th Avenue NW. The SAIT Main Campus can easily be accessed by C-Train and also
has onsite parking available for a small $4.00 charge. Additionally there is free 2-hour offsite parking available located within minutes walking distance.
**Due to the nature of game development and programming in general, there is a reasonable expectation that everyone has at least some understanding of basic
programming principals or the desire to learn.
